New Additions to Leagues Check Up (ECNL & GA)

Anonymous
Realize the showcases are a tiered approach. But at the league level, they are doing badly.

Also, it was not a Metro decision. ASA played them dirty and paid the price of losing the GA status; on top of that, the teams were performing poorly, similar to the MLS next ones now.

As the poster above said, there is nothing wrong with being a community soccer club with a great rec program.

Sorry your DS didn't make the team. Maybe you should try to think about something else?

Is that your argument? lol!

So many idiotic statements in so few words.

That...or you used to be Metro staff. Actually, that's what I'm betting on now. I heard one in particular was a strange bird.

Wow, lightbulb moment. You're old Metro staff and you are still upset.

You're referring to "Metro United" as "Metro" and talking some inside crap about "ASA played them dirty."

I doubt you are a customer associated with the old Metro United here because that club was already performing poorly before it was taken over. Were you not able to find a good coaching job after it folded?

Settle down Alexandria wine moms. If your kids at Alexandria were good enough to be playing ECNL or GA they would be doing it. And if they have stayed at a club with no end game because they didn't back themselves enough to make it at a bigger club, tough luck. They, and you, should not expect to back door their way into a "bigger" situation.

But don't worry too much. ASA is nor getting GA.

Look, instead of being bitter about it, please realize you didn't pan out at Metro because of the same things that are afflicting you here. Just has you lack reading comprehension here, you lacked an ability to read a game at Metro. Just as you hurl insults around here, you hurled insults at youth players and parents. Clean up your act here and move forward and then you can also become a better coach.

Like when they fired you from your coaching job?

What are you on about? I am lacking reading comprehension skills? Pot calling kettle, you are black. I read and understand what I read just fine.

I see a group of Alexandria parents hoping upon hope their club gets GA because their girls weren't good enough for one of the other local ECNL teams or GA teams. Or, they were too scared to attempt to move to one of those teams. Now, y'all think you can abracadabra your way into a higher league.

You don't deserve it. And, it's not happening this year.

You might be "seeing" things, but it doesn't have anything to do with Alexandria parents. So rich coming from a fired Metro coach.

Interesting that they "fired" metro coaches, and then BOOM, GA status was lost. Karma? It did not pay out not to have qualified coaches and try to bring youngsters with no skin in the game to save some money. There is no way they will get GA back. In case you were wondering, I'm not a coach, just a parent.
