Please explain how this is Israel's fault.

Israel invaded Lebanon did it not?

Is Lebanon Iran?

Israel attacked Iran not long ago. Does that count?

When did Israel attack Iran directly? There has been a lot of proxy attacks by both sides, but I’m not aware of direct Israeli attacks on Iran itself. But I could be missing something.

At this point I really don't give a rat's ass who started it...it's like having my two kids arguing and saying "he started it", "no, he started it".

And yet, here you are.

I think throughout this they are moreso coordinating with Israel on the reality of what they will both do and say. I think they are more in line with actions and they just have to pretend more in public statements to try and remain politically relevant in the US. I saw somthing too now released saying the US gave Israel a green light to invade Lebanon while also saying publicly they want a ceasefire. Hard to know for sure if it’s incompetence or double speak. Probably some of both. But more so I lean toward Israel really being inline with the US on what they actually want to do versus what they are saying. Money talks in the end and the money is saying hell yes let’s start ww3

Just go and live in the Middle East, if you love it so much.

Our politicians are corrupt and bought by pro Israel lobbyists. No, This is not the place where they will walk away from money and power. People have to vote for candidates who don’t take pro israel money. Then make it known to politicians. Only then will politicians consider a change in tune.

You should totally move to Lebanon or Gaza and Iran, where they have honest, trustworthy, and morally upstanding politicians and governments. You will be so much happier there, and clearly, the corrupt government is causing you severe mental health issues.

In your defense, Israel has attacked so many countries lately, its hard to keep it all straight: https://apnews.com/article/iran-hamas-israel-...cd8b259de9650014b779

You also have the Israeli assassination of Iranian scientists.

Iran has a global campaign of assassinations, both directly and via proxies.

Israel has:

- responded to 10/7 by attacking Gaza

- retaliated after Hezbollah launched rockets starting on 10/8

Sorry you can’t keep track of 2 military campaigns.

Don’t worry. America acts in its own best interest. We won’t get dragged in unless it is critical to American strategy.

It is one thing to help an ally who is attacked.

It is quite another to enable a country that keeps stoking a wider war, despite our repeated requests for them to de-escalate.

I realize that Israel was attacked, viciously. But that was a year ago. It has little to do with all of the innocents killed in Gaza since then. And the current widening of this war in the Middle East.

I do not support US service members being put at risk due to Israel's aggression. Nor do I want my tax dollars used to reward their total refusal to cooperate with the US in this effort.

Should we send our soldiers to fight for the other side? The upstanding gov of Lebanon and Iran? Would that be better for you? Clearly, nobody from those countries has ever attacked anyone. Definitely, they did not attack the U.S. or Israel.

Why do Palestinians have the land claim? Please explain to me. There has never been a state called Palestine.

They want us to fund their wars and then send our troops do die fighting their wars.

Ever wonder why we went into Iraq when the administration knew there were no WMD's?

Endless wars in the middle east paid by our tax dollars and our soldiers!!

Israel has a much better army than we have.

Let’s be clear:

Hamas attacked Israel. Israel responded.

Hezbollah attacked Israel. Israel responded.

Israel has not attacked unprovoked in this conflict.

Iran has, however.

Arabs have lived there for a long time.

So have Jews.

But yes — the notion of a Palestinian Arab is pretty new.

It doesn’t. Israel is fighting for survival. It is surrounded by countries that want it gone and to exterminate its citizens in the process.

Because they were born and live there, for generations? Own homes, farms and businesses there?. Are you saying that Kurds can be ethnic cleansed away and Turks living in Germany and the US can seize their land and homes because there has never been an independent state called Kurdistan?

There has been no state called Israel there in 2000 years either. And if you go back that long, then maybe Italians should move to Jerusalem as it was once the Roman Empire

Let’s be clear Israel attacked and killed Hamas members in Gaza. Killing over 600 Hamas(Israel’s own claim) in Gaza before Oct 7. This was on top of 16 years blockade of Gaza.
Similar numbers in Lebanon.
Similar numbers in the West Bank.
Israel committed acts of war against and terrorism in Iran. Iran has shown incredible restraint.

Israel has been at war with Palestinians for over 75 years and still occupies and oppression Palestinian. So just stop with you disgusting propaganda.

You conveniently forgot Israel bombed down to the ground Iran’s embassy in Syria in April. That was a direct attack on Iran.

It was not the US's best interest to go to war in Iraq. In fact, it has had an opposite effect. Sadaam kept Iran in check, a buffer. Now without Sadaam, the people in Iraq and Iran are more closely aligned. Like the puppet government the US installed in Iran in the 1950's, the current Iraq puppet government will fall. It's hard to maintain imperialism from afar for long periods of time.
