And what if Trump wins, you nitwit. You like an entire MAGA government?

Hogan isn't MAGA. From MAGA perspective, it's better to have a Senate without Hogan. unless he is the 50th vote, and probably not even then.

Wrap it up any way that makes you feel good about your decision. McConnell recruited Hogan to run and is helping to finance Hogan's campaign.

McConnell is against Trump.

And yet he gave Trump everything, to the detriment of the country, Trump wanted during Trump’s first presidency. It’s not what you say that means anything. It’s what you actually do that matters. The person slated to take McConnell is not much better than McConnell himself. Why else do you think McConnell elevated and then endorsed him to step in when McConnell finally step out.

I am going to vote Democrat. If this was the olden days and we didn't have a bunch of crazy Republicans in both chambers, it might be a different story. But in today's climate. I vote D down the ticket.

This. The moderate republicans should focus on governor roles that don’t have these same nationwide risks/ implications. Until the Republicans finally clean out the Magas, the only ethical way to vote is Blue for now.

It’s all fine and dandy (and feels good) to say that Hogan is a moderate, but he will not be able to get away with bucking the party line vote except for in rare, rare circumstances (if at all). They will sideline him before anyone can blink.

They can sideline him unless he is the tie breaking vote basically.

Until Dems get the house and Senate we will never have more rules and laws for the supreme Court. We need to change their lifetime appointments to termed limits. Period. Republicans already said they won't do this. This issue is huge given the impact on all of us.
