This is not the standard expectations for men under 55. Most women do not get brazilians. If you run into one that does, hang on to her.

Also, don't worry about pubes. Thankfully, just a trim on length and you're good to go. I have never, nor will I ever take it up the bum.

NP here, also over 50, hoping to have sex very soon after long marriage plus post-marriage celibate period. I've never done anything except shave bikini line, and I'm afraid trimming length would lead to sparse-looking. I mean, isn't sparse-looking what happens naturally when you age? Why would I want to look older down there than I already do? This is a serious question.

Sparse, coarse and gray is why I stick with full Brazilian. Plus, my new guy, 56, loves it. I’m 55.

This is a dumb question. But what do you do when you trim? Just cut it shorter? How short?

54 yo woman here. When my bush seems to be getting unruly I just grab a bit and stretch it out and trim a half inch or so. I do this in the shower. Yes, it does make it thinner, but I don't care. I am old. It is cooler, less messy, easier on my guy if my pubes aren't inches long. Also, no ingrown anything, and still have the hygiene of pubic hair.

They have trimmers for this, look on Amazon. They work just like men’s beard trimmers, you set the attachment to a certain length and get a nice even buzz. Takes 5 mins, looks kempt.

So you trim it to be a half inch or so? Or shorter? I’m just confused about how this wouldn’t be prickly.

My best advice is to cut them off quickly if the sex doesn't meet your expectations. We are too old to be nice about bad sex!

What is “bad sex” from your respective ? I only met couple men so far I really wanted to have sec with. I’m 20 BMI perfect body woman in my 40s. I’m only attracted to men with similar bodies. But even those who are hit are horrible kissers at makeout session, for example. I have no desire to continue if he’s a bad kisser

PP here. Agree that kissing tells you a lot. Bad sex for me is no stamina and men that aren't interested in going down. Or, they go down and it is terrible. Or, they tell you that they are 'great' in bed and that isn't true. It's all subjective I guess. I'm in pretty good shape and the dude I'm sleeping with now is fat. But, still great in bed. We like what we like. ;-)

But why would anyone go down on the first time together? I love it but won't O from it, and wouldn't allow him before STD testing due to HSV concerns

Many many women need them to go downtown to O. It’s standard foreplay.

IMHO most men suck at this, no pun intended. I usually try to steer them away from sucking energetically at some random spot on my inner thigh.

That's what I'm saying: it's way easier to get her to O with external stimulation with hand, than with sucking.

Wow, not my experience at all!

Put 3-4 fingers slight in and move real fast like a massager. Side to side not in and out.

Forgot to add - the only guy who did it right with me post divorce in the US was Korean. Zero white US born Americans.

I picked up on your comment that a Korean man did this … I think my current BF who is Korean does this but it doesn’t work for me at all. He doesn’t stay on the important spot with his mouth and keeps jamming a few fingers in and out.

Every man you see in the media these days is jacked with 5% body fat and the clear message is that's what's considered "hot" and no, you are not allowed to be an "imperfect" fat slob.

Maybe if you hadn't let them do this to women since the beginning, we'd have more sympathy for the fact that it's starting to happen to you, too.

I have absolutely no control over the p0rn industry, so I didn't "let" them do anything to women.

I am not asking for sympathy, I'm simply stating that the previous claim that men are "allowed" to have imperfect bodies is wrong.

But thanks for your stupid remark.

Nah, bro, by and large, it's true. The range of "doable" men is far greater than the range for women. Men, generally speaking, are allowed a lot more imperfection than women. Still.

Sorry someone hurt you. (it wasn't me)
[Hey bro I'm sorry you think this dumb remark is a great zinger.]

. . .

Meanwhile every woman has a list of 2,583,032 demands that a man must meet in order to date her. And the list gets paradoxically longer the older and more unattractive she gets.

Social media has almost everything to do with these unrealistic expectations

My Korean did either or: only with his mouth or only used hands. He also played piano pretty well and had strong fast fingers

Yes, or shorter. Moisturizer with an essential oil helps to condition it, but honestly, lesser of 2 evils. I far prefer kissing a man with well trimmed and maintained facial hair, rather than the long scraggly look that is in these days.. YMMV!

I have found that the younger the woman is, the more likely she is to be fully shaved. So, a shave would make you look younger.

Yes, post-50 might lead to sparseness or gray. So what? Please do what you enjoy. It is your body. Experimenting with post-divorce grooming is fun, so have a good time trying different things.

Just grab some scissors and give it a try!! It won't be prickly if you leave one layer of curl.
