I’m not a big “don’t recline” person, but …

They are welcome to reclaim by reclining their seat

My petite daughter and I get 2 aisle seats, with her in front of me - not reclining!

Curious as to why she would be less entitled to recline than others. You don't know anything about what back problem she suffers from, or really, anything else about her.

She can recline all she wants, but it's still low class behavior.

In your opinion. Truly no one cares what you think. Someone thinks I’m low class? Oh well. Doesn’t bother me one bit. I truly don’t care what a stranger thinks about me.

I’m 5’8” with long legs. When the person in front of me reclines, as, yes, they are entitled to do, the seat hits my knees. I don’t recline because I won’t put whoever is behind me through what I have to deal with. I guess I’m just more considerate than some of you. And at 5’8”, which is not that tall, I shouldn’t have to (and can’t afford) comfort plus. My two cents.

This is me. I don’t care if the person in front of me reclines either.

You are more than welcome to fly the carriers that dont have reclining seats.

If my seat reclines, ima be reclining.

It's low class because she's... short? What the actual F?

Not my experience.

Rude, not short.

Reclining is not rude. Full stop. You may not like it, but it’s not rude.

Sure if you want to sacrifice your comfort to feel more considerate go for it. No one else really cares if you think you’re more considerate.

^^obnoxious. what makes you more special than everyone else? nobody has their seat reclined other than 1 or 2 very tall men, who I don’t begrudge.

What do you mean? Everyone has the option to recline, special has nothing to do with it

Look around you. Ask yourself why you are behaving differently than others and what entitles you to do that.

The price of my ticket and the seat options allow me to do that. I don't give a rat's ass what you or anyone else does.

There are so many people like you and you make life unnecessarily unpleasant. It's not about the reclining. It's this self-absorbed attitude. You also likely are a terrible driver, cut lines, think the rules don't apply to you, and yet complain loudly when you don't get your way. Honestly, you are a selfish jerk and you suck.

You may be the most un-self aware person on the planet. Someone is doing something completely within their rights and that makes you mad - who’s the selfish jerk? Since you’re so clueless I’ll answer that for you - you are the selfish jerk. And none too bright to boot.

I am GENUINELY a DP, and it is my guess that what made him mad was the "I don't give a rat's ass what you or anyone else does." comment. The OP's original comment, which I do not agree with, was fairly benign.

The "I don't give a rat's ass" was me and I'm not OP. That was in response to "look around you and make sure you're doing what everyone else is doing" instruction. So if everyone else decides to stand, I should do the same? How about if everyone else decides to jump up and down?

Do you read the comments you reply to? I agree it is your right to recline and no you need not do as others do, and said so several times. It's the "I don't give a rat's ass what you or anyone else does" that I find not only distasteful but lowers you to the position you object to. It's self-defeating. If there was not one single response to OP you'd have had the win you clearly require for some reason.

There was no reason to go "I don't give a rat's ass what you or anyone else does".

And before you respond to that I know you don't give a rats ass about that either. But maybe you should.

I wasn’t responding to you with that comment. Not even sure why you keep posting other than to read your own words.

Because I think people should be nicer and better here than you were being. You over-reacted 100%. And now you choose to insult me, that's fine, that is your prerogative as well. So I won't comment on this any more as you request. But my point has been made.

Interesting that you arent going after the anti-recliners calling people selfish jerks, etc. Guess your prerogative to denigrate others is limited to the recliners?

This statement would be preposterous if it wasn't so damned funny. So very very funny. Prejudiced against rude recliners only!

No, and if you would read what I wrote instead of knee-jerking you'd know that.

For the love of god hit “click to show previous quotes” and read this entire thread. Who was the first person to be rude? It wasn’t the person you continue to admonish. It was another anti-recliner.

You think the comment "Look around you. Ask yourself why you are behaving differently than others and what entitles you to do that." was rude?

Compared to the "I don't give a rats ass" comment that followed it?

Lol.
