But will not be the candidate on the ballot. Sorry.

SHE WILL

Will Virginia Republicans actually hold a real primary in which everyone can vote this time? Because last time she tried to run they didn’t.

“Everyone” shouldn’t vote in a Republican primary, only members of the Republican Party.

And Youngkin won.

Anyone thinking Sears has a chance of winning a general election is nuts.

Really? I'm a moderate Dem and I have a better opinion of Youngkin now because VA is doing pretty well and he hasn't done anything to mess that up. We're not a state in shamble. We just need a steady hand at the wheel so we don't drive off into a ditch.

This. I'm fine with deadlocked state government because I think that Virginia is doing well and we don't need massive legislative packages from either party

Things are pretty good as they are. Gov. Youngkin has done a good job keeping with moderate common sense policy which has mostly come in the form of NOT supporting things like increasing access to recreational drugs and vetoing minimum wage hikes that would have been job killers for teens/young people and rural parts of the state. I’m also very happy with the school cell phone ban.

I will vote for whoever is the most moderate and common sense.

+3
I think Youngkin has been an all-around good governor.

+4
Agree. Imagine if we were like DC and forced every public school kid to get the Covid vaccine for example. A lot is about what didn't happen.

Youngkin is a lying MAGA misogynist.

True but so what? Nothing actually changed under him. The only thing that I can recall in the past few years is the random tax refunds we get each year and cell phone bans in school. What has significantly changed for Virginians under him?

I do not trust any Republican while Trump is in the white house.

DP and I could consider voting Republican but not while the Dictator is in charge threatening anyone who dares to go against his will and making them all bend the knee. No thanks.

Oh the horror! I bet you worry less about kids getting shot at school than a stupid vaccine. Your brain is warped.

It stands for Live Action Role Playing. Like little who dress up as fantasy characters for comic con.

...You know that we don't have to register with a party when we register to vote in Virginia, right? How would you know who the Republicans are?

Fortunately, he has been tempered by the Ds in the GA.

He has been f-ing around with VDOE and trying to underfund schools.

He stokes division by pushing RWNJ narratives.

And if the Ds didn't have the GA he would have supported "any abortion ban" that the Rs pushed through. He continues to fight against protections for women, including those with pregnancies with severe fetal anomalies.

He is a POS who would happily hurt women if he had the chance.

Therein lies the problem. Who voted in the "firehouse primary" that got Youngkin nominated? That's the way it should be done: ranked choice voted on by members of the Party to keep out the crazies (looking at you, Amanda Chase).

Oh silly boy. We have the Social Security data, the Treasury data, the FEC data, and all of your personal data. ALL of it. So we can EASILY determine just how strong a MAGA supporter or opponent you are.

But, you know, you do you. Just don’t complain when you wind up in an outsourced concentration camp in El Salvador. Enjoy the tropical weather

He also threw a tantrum and vetoed everything even bills Republicans wanted, after he didn't get his idiotic Potomac Yards stadium.
