I haven’t slept through the night, for ages. Help!

Cold to cool room.

Evening exercise can help but nothing too strenuous.

I love podcasts - the more low-key, the breed and with a lighter subject like pop culture. Set a timer on your phone. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to an entire podcast when I trying to sleep - just knocks me out.

Cardio exercise during the day time? I get sleep issues if I don't exercise... My body needs ro be tired for good sleep.

For me, the answer is the same as for my anxiety (which I barely suffer from anymore): vigorous exercise early in the day. It doesn’t have to be complicated or take up much time. For me, what works best is a short run (1 mile) to some outdoor stairs. Then I run the stairs for an equivalent of 30 flights. Then I will or jog home.

If I don’t do this, I feel fidgety all day and don’t sleep well. I wish doctors would prescribe exercise and really promote it. FWIW, I am not a fitness queen. I am probably 10 lbs overweight because I eat whatever I want. But I’m relaxed!

Exercise everyday for at least an hour - a walk, bike, yoga, gym, etc. It will help you fall asleep and sleep soundly.
