I haven’t slept through the night, for ages. Help!

I had the same issue. Get a sleep test. I shockingly had mild sleep apnea and the CPAP is helping me sleep through the night.

How much do you take?

This is the same experience for me, it also got rid of my anxiety that busprone wasn’t helping

You need sleep medication, at this point. Or just live with it. Everything is temporary.

Exercise helps a lot for me. Good workout usually helps me fall asleep much faster.

Different poster, but Magnesium has been a complete game change for me. I take 400 mg after dinner (5'3, 115 pounds, but my husband, 6'2, 180 also takes 400mg - it works for both of us)

What type of magnesium? Can you recommend the brand?

DP. I like magnesium bisglycinate - I take Solaray brand currently.

CBT-I works and is only between 4-8 sessions. It has longer term effects than any medication. All medications only work for that specific night’s rest. Then you’re right back where you started. CBT-I is non invasive and has an 80% success rate, which is high, even when followed up with a year later. Everyone always jumps to meds but I suggest this first!

Can someone mention what kind of edibles. Even ones that are cbd/cbn only make me high.

Seroquel. “Microdose” of 12.5 mg has been doing the trick for me for months. Started at 25mg but realized if I cut it in half i still get all the benefits of going right to sleep and staying asleep thru the night. Life changing.

OP- get black seed oil from the health food store. put a tsp etc in a cup of water. Warm water works even better for sleep. Drink it in the morning. you will sleep like a baby.

NP here, speaking to those 50+ and I haven't read the whole thread. For those NOT taking something medicinal to help, does anyone sleep through the night?

I would guess no

I do when my cat doesn't wake me up at odd hours. If it's still dark, I can usually get back to sleep after going downstairs to give him treats to shut him up. Today he woke me up at 6, so I stayed up. I'm 52.

I've never needed anything medicinal to help with sleep and I drink coffee/espresso at all hours.

I'm a 66 yo man, been waking up to whiz at least once for many years.
Part of life, I guess.
