are you guys all in a panic because infowars is going to shut down and you can't get your supplements anymore? |
No. |
I take a Centrum silver daily (I’m 53), D3 a few times weekly, and recently began taking CoQ10 which I do believe has helped with energy utilization and muscle mass recovery.
In general I focus on eating a nutritarian diet - lots of fibrous foods with the best micronutrients so I’m getting nutrition in the most bioavailable way. |
yeah some of you are very very triggered by the suggestion that supplements aren't regulated for dose level.
What is that about? |
Is it like reiki and homeopathy? |
I may be somebody you are referring to and I am not "triggered." I am, however, indeed pushing back on the idea that a supplement of a thing with proven health benefits recommended by my doctor based on my own individual health, and for which there is an ability to ensure third party validation and for which there is an enforcement mechanism for false labeling.....is akin to taking snake oil. |
Exactly. The dumb retort concerning being “triggered” is a universally available response to any disagreement in a forum setting. We might as well shut the whole forum down. Meanwhile the idiots here debating doctor recommended supplements, of which there are generally very few, are attempting to validate their daily show level intelligence by pretending they unlocked some big scam. |
What dose and who is your gastro? He seems like he knows what hes doing I have barretts and need a good gastro. Thanks! |
You are doing a lot to make sure the supplements you are taking contain the dose identified, which makes you different from the people claiming that "all Vit D supplements are the same." It's weird for people to deny the mulitude of studies showing dosing is mis-identified in supplements. |
The most important supplement I take is vitamin D3; as recommended by my NP, I always have low vitamin D.
I also take K2; it has done wonders for my cholesterol. I also take Quercetin as I have a compromised immune system. I am confused about D as some reports are saying it makes no difference taking it, but how come my Vitamin D levels are ok now that I am taking it? |
You seem awfully invested in your supplements, to need to call people derogatory names based on factual statements that the industry isn't well-regulated. Your overreaction does seem like you are 'triggered.' |
I'm not the PP. But to be clear, this is a response to posters calling other posters "triggered." So the move from discussing "factual statements" to (mis)characterizing posters started there. |
