Depends, what you want out of soccer club. Our time at Herndon has been mostly positive. I love that they are always encouraging my child instead of berating them as that would not work for my child. They may not be the top of line with soccer but I feel like most of the players progress under their leadership.

Depends on the age group and boys or girls. But this is true for every club in this area. It's not a big club though so if you are looking to swap from a 4th team to a top team it's not hard for some age groups.

The coaches at Herndon don't even know yet which team they will coach. The coaches are supposed to find out before tryouts today. I'm guessing they'll get the list 30 minutes before the actual practice starts

Our coach said no practices this week.

My dc joined mid-season. What's the process with the tryouts? Do they send out offers after the first night for the kids they definitely want?

This is like a month earlier than they normally do tryouts. So a kid doesn't get his spot back on his current team and he is playing the entire spring season with a coach who doesn't want him? that rough.
