Yeah I feel like they were in May last year. The regular league season just started for the NCSL teams which are most of the teams.

oh you are right, that makes sense. if they are trying to start a bunch of new girls teams they would want to beat the other leagues to the tryout dates.

Coaching slate is just as important as tryout dates. The younger age groups are all tonight. Who will be there at the tryouts?

The coaches don't know who they are coaching yet!! So many coaches are leaving the club that they haven't filled all the vacancies yet. The coaches at that club have changed yearly

What has Herndon done on the girls side for the past 1? 2? even 10 years for anyone to come and join the club?

They've folded the girls program twice because they don't support and take care of the girls, families or coaches on that side. All they care about are the top teams on the boys side

Our team's practice space is so small this year: four teams on a field.

They can't add more teams if they don't pay for more turf space from the county.

you know, that's a very good point. i feel like the practice space gets tighter every year and Herndon never seems to get access to any more fields. where are all these new girls teams going to practice?

Ever since the incidents at Hutchinson and parent complaints about the safety of the kids in that location, they've moved everyone to Bready and that's only 1 field.

There was a shooting in the parking lot this past fall.

But they have 3-4 travel teams and many rec teams practicing there every night. So they arent avoiding the field use.
