What do you mean by this? Wouldn’t the whole point of a merger be to form a single team composed of players from both teams? There can only be one team per gender and age group in RL. One has to assume a merger was the solution to Herndon not having enough girls to fill out a single team.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to figure out - U12. The U12 team is at Sterling, but playing as Herndon for regular season games. We have 11 games loaded in the app and no clue where they came from since I can't see anything on ECNL-RL or NCSL. At least we know the schedule, but I still like to know the source so I can check their site for stats and changes kwim? Also, Sterling 2012s play "Herndon" this weekend in a scrimmage. Who are they playing if there's no 2012 Herndon team?

We don't have any games loaded into Playmetrics for our Herndon RL
boys team.

NCSL schedules aren't out yet, so the games have to be RL league. Is the first one on Sept 7 v Valor?

Yes, the first is against Valor for 2012G. Can you please link the site where you saw that?

We are one of the teams who have no information, but my kid's friend who plays for Valor told him they were playing each other that day.

There is no girls U12 team for Sterling in NCSL. Where is a team magically going to come from next year?

Both Herndon and Sterling have 2011 girls teams. They were both in NCSL last year, but neither is listed this year. Are they both in ECNL-RL under Herndon? I thought each league could only have one team.

The Sterling 2012 girls are playing as Herndon

No idea about U12. The Sterling 2012 girl's team U14 is playing as Herndon for regular season games. Meaning the entire Sterling 2012 team will be wearing Herndon uniforms. Then they will play as Sterling in Sterling uniforms for outside league tournaments.

As far as the friendly game this weekend for the 2012 Sterling girls vs Herndon, I have no idea who they're actually playing on the Herndon side since there's no 2012 girls team. Maybe playing the 2011 Herndon girls

How is this possible when teams have been practicing all week? Just ask your kids coach who is there running the practice what you want to know.
