Golden goose sneakers still in?

Okay I’ll bite. I still wear my GG because I find them comfortable and like the way they look with a variety of outfits. I have several pairs. I could care less whether you like them or judge me and honestly think you’re probably jealous because you can’t afford a pair. And yes I would be considered a pretty wealthy private school mom in a giant SUV. So I guess you can hate us even more now.

This is who I put in GG’s. Like upper echelon target moms. I don’t really know what private school has to do with it, in my community private school is usually paid for my grandparents so I high earners do not equate with private school. You just look like a mom chasing trends.

Put the right pair on your feet.
Won’t be disappointed

I just came back from a 3 week trip in Italy, so many people were wearing On sneakers. I am an ASICS gal due to foot issues but what’s up with On?

Paul Green. Cute, comfortable, and seem more low profile than GG.

I have ON sneakers. They are comfortable. The Golden Goose sneakers look like their customers are middle schoolers. They are juvenile looking.

Even if you’re 6-12 months “late” according to Instagram trends, you are spot on that the poorer and less attractive moms are seething with envy.

Stylish trainers but also comfortable; can wear with nicer clothes, ath leisure, casual, and even to work.

If I paid $800.00 for a pair of sneakers, I’d wear them for the rest of my life.

I am very much not a trend follower but I disagree. Unlike, say teen looking aviator nation, loveshack fancy or the branded roller rabbit (not their normal stuff), GG seems all ages to me. Their loafers are great - the only ones that are both comfy and don't slip off my heel- and I am eyeing their boots.. The sneakers themselves are fun, no as part of some mom uniform but just as a decadent, fun shoe. They're not serious shoes, and I love my black glitter high tops that my tween chose. They look great with tights or a bare leg and a dress - fun going out shoes. I would love some of their mules for air travel. I'm 50 FWIW.

I like GG because they look good with so many outfits, much better than On Clouds, and more comfortable than Vejas. I wear my On Clouds to the gym. Wear what you want and don't let a thread dissuade you from being true to your own style.

I still wear them. They're comfortable and I like the heel lift.
