This is who I put in GG’s. Like upper echelon target moms. I don’t really know what private school has to do with it, in my community private school is usually paid for my grandparents so I high earners do not equate with private school. You just look like a mom chasing trends.

In my community private school equals grandparents paying, and parents are usually well educated and well read crunchy types, definitely not Golden Goose wearers.

I cannot speak for Chicago, but they are not popular in NYC or LA anymore.

i just bought some on a trip to Italy and love them.

I cannot buy them because they are too common now. They are cute but I just can’t join the masses.

GG is still opening stores in NYC, including one in West Village/Meatpacking soon.

Love them (even the knock offs.)
I just think it is a cool, comfy look.

God no. Not for eons.

The moms I know in them are the trendy try hards.

I think of Eddie on Ab Fab

I remember seeing the Golden Goose shoe store in Tysons II and thinking that they are basically selling pre-dirtied converse shoes with a star on it. I have no idea why someone pays $600 for a pair. I assume that anyone wearing these shoes are just wearing knock-offs.

Before I knew they were expensive I thought they were so ugly and I did not get why I saw them everywhere. When I found out they are expensive for sneakers it made a lot more sense, they are conspicuous and popular who are into big logos etc
