Anyone traveling to see the total eclipse in April?

We are heading to Cleveland and the city will be jumping that weekend. The Cleveland International Film Festival will be running, the women's Final Four is being held Friday/Sunday downtown and the Guardians have their home opener the day of the eclipse. The Great Lakes Science Center will have eclipse-focused programming all weekend, including a free concert with the Cleveland Orchestra on Sunday.

No. The moon passes in front of the sun and it's amazing. If clouds obscure this, you won't get the full effect.

The 2017 total eclipse (in SC) was one of the amazing experiences I've ever witnessed. We were at the beach on vacation, so had to go inland quite a bit to get out the cloudy forecast. Very glad we did that, even though it was a hella traffic event getting past Columbia.

I feel like this will play a part in Cleveland's ongoing renaissance.

+1
We were in the high desert of eastern Oregon, with no one else around. Incredible, surreal experience. But it was also clear, so no clouds to obscure.

I was in San Francisco for the last one.
We have a second home in upstate NY where it will be the total eclipse but we will have just been up there for Spring Break the week before and I don't want to drive 7 hours again and have the kids miss school, so I guess we will have to miss it.
It's very cool and I'm so glad I saw it in 2017! Eerie experience being in SF walking home and seeing it
