It would be easily defended using the same standard Boston POC "electeds" used:

“It is not at all divisive, it is creating spaces for people and communities and identities with shared experiences to come together,” said Ruthzee Louijeune, a Boston city councilor at-large. “We are still breaking barriers and it is so important for us to carve out and create that space.”

Ruthzee: do you employ dishonest double standards, or not?

One mishap by some idiot in Boston isn't comparable to the thousands of years of abuse minorities throughout the world have experienced at the hands of their oppressors.

It's not a mishap. It's racism by democrats. Just like the anti-semitism by democrats. Stop trying to talk your way out of it. There is no rationalization for this.

Okay so it's somewhere between a mishap and racism. Still not a big deal. No one was hurt. I wasn't invited and could care less.

Racism is not a big deal to you?

O. M. G.
Most progressives are critical race theorists and, as such, don't view this as racism. They see it as justice. This is insane but that's most progressives these days.

You can imagine the outrage if the shoe was on the other foot and the party had been for "electeds on non-color" or you know, "whites only". Hey progressives, just recognize the hypocrisy of dividing people socially (and by no other criteria except the color of their skin) in a publicly elected setting.

I thought segregation was illegal.

If taxpayer money was used for the party:

Taxpayers paid for the computer, labor of the planners, rent of the building, refreshments then those of all races should be invited.

Taxpayers should not be paying for segregation.

I believe the people of non color were in the minority. There is only 6 white people on the city council. Is Ms Wo having a separate party for the minority group of 6 white people?

Exclusivity and segregation is now progress.

Truly amazing.

Universities should segregate commencement ceremonies by race.

- oh wait, they are already doing that.

Segregation is the “progress” envisioned by progressives?? No thanks!

We should also segregate transportation based on race so that everyone can have their safe space.

Uhhhhhhh wait......

How about people that want to be sexual but can't find a partner?

It does make a hypocrisy out of DEI. Which is diversity - equity - inclusion. This party shunned all three. In the name of DEI!

Does show how intellectually bankrupt the whole DEI ideology is.

+1. That’s because they hate you, and they hate themselves.

+ 1 million. They're contorting themselves to make their racist message seem inoffensive.

I think people of different races should use the same transportation. Some races should have to sit at the back of the bus though. -Progressives

Then the "I" would be for Incel. Or maybe you need to add another I.

You’re not a member of the city council.

How do you know other people weren’t hurt by this obvious snub? How dare you assign feelings to other people.

Children are dying of starvation all of this world and you think I'm worried about some council member in Boston having their feelings hurt due to not being invited to a party? I'm not

Here’s the thing. No one cares what you think. Your opinion is completely irrelevant.

The taxpayers and city council memo of Boston do care.

Do you live in Boston? I don't and I don't care about their city council or any privileged nut jobs having their feelings hurted cause they weren't invited to a party. Do you know what children in Israel, Gaza, and Ukraine are going through right now? Get over it.

Do you live in Gaza, Ukraine, or Israel? Boston, maybe? No; didn’t think so.

Now sit down and shut up.

Uh, no, and while it's not nearly the same as other racism that POCs have gone through or what the GOP does every day, it's definitely not a good look. And suggesting we get over it is like suggesting POCs get over every "microaggression" or racist exclusionary act that someone has done to them, capeesh? You want DEI, then start acting like it.
