is applying Test Optional to UVA arts and sciences disadvantageous

I realize that, and my opinion on the matter stands. UVA isn't globally different than any other school with a TO application offering. No matter what the Dean J harpy says.


UVA has never cared about scores as much as other schools. So it’s not just like other schools.


And yet, it has fewer kids enrolled who applied test optional than schools like Vandy, which used to really care about test scores.


Vandy is known as the school to apply if you are white/rich parents/good grades /horrid scores.

Ummm. Definitely more than a few questionable admits… of course not “most” but…

Private school here tho.

Well a lot of people who apply to UVA apply with scores. That doesn’t mean that UVA is focused on test scores.
