I started taking it 3 weeks ago, i am a dancer and yesterday i looked at my dance video realizing i barely recognize my body - it is way thicker than it ever has been. My diet has been very clean, since i started taking Nutrafol i cut off all desserts/pastries and with the life style i am currently having i would normally lose weight. Same as most people here, my hair started growing but so did the thick layer around my waist arms and hips.
A bummer, going to stop taking it now and see it the weight comes off!

Yes nutrafol made me gain 50 pounds! They claim this is not a side effect so I didn't realize it was nutrafol for a long time. It made me crave sweets and gain weight fast. I cut the dose in half my appetite went back to normal. I've already lost weight and don't constantly think about food. It made my hair gorgeous so I'm hoping the half dose works

I notice there is a large amount of biotin in the ingredients. I read biotin can affect your thyroid . Has anyone seen this?

Biotin can interfere with thyroid testing, but not the thyroid. You must stop taking Biotin for at least 4 days prior to your thyroid testing.

I am so glad a found a few different recent posts regarding this issue. I have gained about 10 pounds in the past few months and the ONLY difference in my routine/diet (however, I've actually cut down on sweets) is starting the Nutrafol about 2 months ago. Like some other women that have posted, I feel "thick","puffy", and definitely bloated! I have never had a hard time shedding at least 5 pounds quickly if I needed to but this will not budge. I stopped it a few weeks ago because I had to have my thyroid checked (due to the complaints of weight gain!). I will not continue it. Not sure what is in it that's causing it but I'm not willing to continue to gain weight at this rate. I decided to opt for LLLT (low level laser treatment) for my hair thinning/loss which was recommended by a hair loss specialist. NO side effects and is FDA approved for women's (and mens now) hair loss. Within less than 2 months I have already seen a significant decrease in my hair shedding! I'm so hopeful that I will have my health head of hair back in about a year. This is not magic, it's biology so have to be patient!
