And I did not like Keely suddenly deciding she's a lesbian. Dumb.

I thought the hallway bump was just more about the psychic theme. She says a word on his mind and he says one on hers. There are at least two other scenes like that in the episide, and I think that's why Ted got the shakes right before his son called, he "knew" the call was coming.

DP. What was the word on his/her mind? I feel I really missed something with that scene in the hallway!

He says he'sa little psychic, she says something about bullies.
I don't know. I don't ship Ted and Rebecca so I prefer to think it was not romantic tension.

I didn't ship Rebecca and Sam, I was yelling at the tv when that happened, but it did work somehow! Maybe Rebecca and Ted could too?

Btw I love Sam. I hope he ends up with someone lovely.

As for the psychic predicting Rebecca would become a mother... I wonder if Sassy is going to die somehow and Rebecca adopts her daughter?

I have a feeling something is going to happen to Rupert's young wife, and he can't deal with raising a baby (baby was just a prop to make Rebecca jealous), so Rebecca adopts Rupert's baby and raises her alone. My sister thinks she's pregnant from Sam. Let's see!

I had the same thought about Rupert's baby.

I think Rupert and wife will die in accident and they left baby to her in a twist of having the ultimate respect for her after all.

^This or something similar.

It can't work for Rebecca and Ted. She'd have to move to Kansas - and while she's shown loads of growth and adaptability, that wouldn't be fair to her.

Sam and the chef at his restaurant have to get together!
Btw I love Sam. I hope he ends up with someone lovely.

Tonights episode was incredible. Just incredible. Moving but still hilarious.

Loved it! The bicycle scene with Jamie and Roy was just hysterical! I love their budding friendship. Great episode.

One of the best episodes of the show so far.

I think this season has been pretty good. I did not love the zava line so glad he’s gone, and I really dislike the Nate story as well as the hostess. He’s just never been a compelling character to me and I know they are setting him up for a redemption but I just would never trust him — the weird spitting to turn himself into a tough guy. I have a particular bias against those jerks who think they are nice guys and blame the world for not recognizing that they are really nice guys or appreciating them—they are the ones that always say “nice guys finish last” when the truth is that they just aren’t very nice, and are confusing low self esteem for niceness. That’s Nate.

I’m also not loving the Jack/keeley thing — it seems random and also really unprofessional of both of them, but particularly for keeley who can’t really afford to piss off her one investor. I thought she was smarter than that. I love the shandy scenes though — truly hysterical.

Jamie is also having a great character arc and one which seems true to who he has always been.

I could have sworn I say Roy break and smile when he should have been angry. You know they had fun with that scene.

Loved this episode! The music from the bicycle scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was a great touch! Loved the Rebecca storyline a lot! All good!

This is my favorite episode so far this season!

A question. I hope the Dutch guy comes back in Rebecca's life. But did he imply at the end that he and Rebecca did do something? I didn't get that from the scene where he removed her feet from his lap.

My read was that he was saying that they did something more serious than sleeping together. Like they made a real connection and were emotionally vulnerable with each other.

I couldn’t stop laughing at that scene. Just a delightful concept for the perfect characters.

I lived in Amsterdam briefly and love Dutch men. This man was perfect. They are direct, sarcastic, hilarious and tall and manly.

Remind me how Keeley got an investor who would help her start a new business?
