I think it's obvious that JM is POS. I also think he's girlfriend seems pretty toxic as well. They had a demonstrably bad relationship, were probably horrible for each other, and had one of those volatile relationships I think we've all seen. But this instance doesn't seem like it should have resulted in a guilty verdict.

She something upsetting on his phone and yanked it from him. He tried to get it back and then ran away from her while she engaged in a multi-block chase. After all of this, she went to a nightclub with three strangers (?), got drunk and then took sleeping pills. She did a lot worse than he did, he just happened to be stronger.

If you want to say karma caught up to him, fine. But, I don't see why he should be guilty of a crime for that one incident and she hasn't been charged for her actions

Please explain how that attack in the car wasn't abuse. So what if she then went to a nightclub with strangers, got drunk, and then took sleeping pills? Does that justify abuse? I'm not defending the girlfriend or calling her a great girlfriend, but that really doesn't matter. Men shouldn't be physically (or otherwise) abusive. Period.

I would not say a lot. Does anyone really care what Whoopi Goldberg, Matthew McConaughey, and Michael B Jordan think? They're just co-stars who liked him, should not be weighing in on such a serious matter. They probably feel pretty stupid now that the audio proof is out.

I doubt they do. They think it's all in the past and he should be able to move on. It's not that people care about what his costars say but that they can help hem ease back into Hollywood. It's not just costars as lots of black actors have also gathered around him.

He also basically said the victim made him do it. Classic narcissistic abuse. Agree Goode was not smart in marrying him.

It’s wild because Megan has been around forever it seems but I never heard of JM until Creed. With Marvel fame, I guess he has more pull in Hollywood than her now.
