Would it be a disadvantage for the lawyers to release the video publicly as opposed to going through the legal/court system first? Do the police/judge have to approve the release of the video or is that decided by the lawyers? |
Unless there is a court order. The owner of the tape can release to whomever they want! |
I’ve got two Disney words for you on what will happen with JM.
Johnny Depp |
Majors’s attorney seems to be a piece of work. She recently lost a civil case defending Paul Haggis from rape charges, and was really aggressive in her cross. Here, she’s publicly said there’s exonerating tape plus the recantation plus she claimed over the weekend the charges would be dismissed. It’s a very aggressive strategy. |
What does this mean? |
That's her job. She's supposed to work aggressively for her client. With that said, this is not looking good for Majors. I think this so-called video is just a bunch of BS. |
They are absolutely going to drop him. His role as Kang is over! |
No shit. There are ways to do that and not come across as near self-hating as a woman. It seems to be an odd speciality, female crim or civil defense for Hollywood alleged rapists and woman-beaters. |
The drip, drip from the lawyer has begun. Is it just me, or does this release not really look all that great for him?

It doesn’t. The woman is basically saying it’s her fault he abused her, because she provoked him by grabbing his phone - a classic dynamic in abusive relationships. Nope, that’s not going to clear him. A video would, but I doubt that’s forthcoming. |
+1 I was shocked that people bought this was exculpatory. |
And wasn't his only contribution "Goodbye beyotch"? He is beyond toxic. |
His lawyer is doing him no favors. The man is scum. And rightfully deserves to lose his career. |
