That’s their job. You think they’re going to tell families people are unhappy with their results? Especially, when tuition is $55K. They would lose their jobs and some families would think twice about paying that level of tuition annually. |

Top 5-6 did not get to any Ivy’s, they do have excellent choices just not ivy's.
U Chicago admitted less students this year compare to previous years. Overall kids have done amazing with lots of great options . The kids with highest GPA might be the most disappointed. |
| SEE YOU IN HELL! |

^ What does that mean?
PP is right that some of the top students might be disappointed. |
|
Exactly what does that even mean???
Most boys are very happy and they are proud of their accomplishments and excited about the next chapter. And I wish for every senior in any school that they feel happy and excited for what comes next. |
| What a sad day at STA |
| I believe STA did better than NCS |
| Tulane, Cornell, Georgetown? |
|
I think STA's Ivy admits are entirely legacy and recruited athletes this year.
NCS has a few unhooked admits. |
| Any parents of STA seniors care to share the real inside scoop? I heard the CCO always tell parents "in the end everything works out". Sometimes it does not, if you have your Top 5/6 kids not getting into at least the bottom Ivy's. |
Pretty much the same at Sidwell. It is all legacy/donor/urm this year. Can't even think of any athletes.. |
| Pretty much the same at GDS. All - maybe save a couple - of the Ivy admits are recruits, URM or legacy. I’d read the ‘big 3 nightmare’ thread too where a couple of kids in top 20% of big 3 classes reportedly ended up at schools well out of top 50. The parents’ recommendation was to use ED outside of Ivies to something more realistic so not left in the RD pool at these tops schools all of which seem to be brutal. |
| End of meritocracy in America is how I see it. |
Right, because getting into and being able to attend St. Albans in the first place was entirely based on merit... |
