Muggers stealing Canada Goose Jackets (sometimes at gunpoint)

But I mean which subpopulation? Because they really aren’t among the actual wealthy and connected people. They are gauche.

I vote for Land's End. Cheap and still filled with down.

Love Land’s End (and LLBean).

I live 4 hrs north of DC and they’re unnecessary here as well.

Can you provide a list of coats people should be allowed to wear? Also, can you publish the acceptable skirt lengths for women?

This has nothing to do with sexism. Nice try. It’s to do with shitty taste

I don’t care about other people’s coats. I don’t have to think about other people’s coats.

I don’t care about people’s coats but I care a whole lot about public safety.

The histrionics on this forum over Canada Goose is next level ridiculous. They are not generally cheap, but the quality is good. No one in the DMV needs a Range Rover or other high-end SUV and yet parking lots and driveways are full of them. The beauty of living in a free country is that people can spend their money as they see fit.

They are necessary for traversing the potholes in this city. You also need them to clear the bollards to access the good parking.

I own a $1700 Woolrich cost, for example. It's one of the best things I've ever bought. I know I won't get robbed because the model I own has no logos anywhere except the tag that you cannot see unless I take it off.

Stop buying crap like Canada Goose of Moncler that have obvious logos on them that make you a target. This is not a new concept. People have been shooting each other for dumb Nikes since the 80s.

True, even the cheapest MaxMara coat is more expensive than any of these. However, people should be able to wear whatever they choose without being hurt.

+1000 It's totally irrelevant whether I think they're a waste of money/not needed here.

You don’t need a car.

If you don't want to be robbed don't flash expensive labels. Me and my Lands End coat and android phone have been fine.

And yet people are getting carjacked for Honda’s and Hyundais. If people want to rob you, they will rob you.
