Not OP but I don't see the issue with this question. As a non-white person, I would want to avoid living in areas (or sending my kids to schools) that are very white.

I don't understand how you can actually admit this - this is such a clear cut example of racism if I've ever seen one. And yes, racism against whites is a real thing - case in point.

Can you imagine if someone said out loud or in this forum "as a white person I would want to avoid living in areas (or sending my kids to schools) that are very black, brown, or Asian"?!

It IS NOT OKAY!!!!!

It is not the same. POC are vastly outnumbered in most institutions that have a foundation and history in catering to white people. You can be upset about people trying to make sure their Black kid doesn't get lost in a school or neighborhood but I would be more upset that it still matters.

And so further segregating yourself and your children is how you should be living your lives? Is pushing for this way of living making a big step in a positive direction towards ending racism? Because you are actually being racist yourself.

How is it segregation to want my kid to have a few kids in his class who look like him. How is that being racist? Nothing you’re saying makes sense to me.

You have to be a troll. I'm convinced.

Mm I don't know what I've said that's that ridiculous. I want my kids to be fit in in school. I don't want them to be picked on because they are different. I'm not saying they should only become friends with kids of his race, but I don't want him to have an identity crisis. Just based on personal experience.

If that me makes a troll, then...shrug.

Bullshit. Take your white supremacy elsewhere. You can find a place where your kid can 'fit in' without asking for which 'caucasian enclaves" "remain intact." I'm pretty sure your kid can fit in just fine with a couple persons of color in the classroom.

Hey there. As I noted in a prior post I’m not OP. Nor am I white. all I was saying was that I understand the sentiment of avoiding areas that are “too white” (i.e. not diverse Enough)

I would love to know why OP posted the original question and phrased it in such a strange way.

Clearly you don’t understand if you’re so perplexed by OP’s question.

Just look at property values, school ratings or income levels. it’s baked into real estate

You want an all white class for your kid? Move to the Midwest then. Nebraska is calling your name. But you will find diversity in this area and if you don’t like it, take your racist ass back to Europe!

Personally, as an East Asian, I want to know where I can find other Asians in DC. Any ideas?

Chinatown DC or Pimmit Hills, VA

There haven’t been Chinese people living in Chinatown in decades.

there are still a lot of asian elementary schoolers at Thompson elementary, or were pre pandemic. Its true, there aren't a lot of asians, east or south in the district especially compared to the surrounding suburbs.

I'd bet the Caucasus remains the most caucasian area.

Except some Americans don’t consider them White/Caucasian.

uhm, they themselves don't consider themselves white! in fact, in eastern europe you are either white (european) OR Caucasian, huge difference in between the two.

Imagine a black poster saying they want to know which are the most black areas, and the responses being “take your racist ass back to Africa” 😂

Yeah OP was just asking a unharmful question out of curiosity and it got all twisted in their minds

Uh huh. You really think asking about which white enclaves remain intact was innocent?
