Neither interested nor incentivized to move there. Just curious as to see what areas have the highest prevalence of caucasian families? Are there any aforementioned enclaves of caucasians in the dc metro anymore, or are there still some that remain intact? |
Chevy Chase, Md |
MCPS publishes demographic info for every school. Just go to the schools webpage and pull up the report. Like this:
https://ww2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/regulatoryaccountability/glance/currentyear/schools/02420.pdf Here is the full listing of schools to pull up each report: https://ww2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/sharedaccountability/glance/index.aspx |
Actually, MCPS makes it even easier and puts all of the demographic info for every school into a single mega-document:
https://ww2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/regulatoryaccountability/glance/currentyear/SAAG2022.pdf |
lol what a weird topic, OP. And yes you are looking to move to an area such as this. |
Just out of curiosity (and so I can buy a house there)..... |
Monocacy ES is the MCPS school with the highest percentage of white students, 71%. But that may be too far out to be what you meant by "the DC metro area." Wood Acres ES in Bethesda is next, with 65%. |
Have you ever been to Utah?? |
I'd bet the Caucasus remains the most caucasian area. |
Damascus
Poolesville Sherwood |
Each of these is less than fifty percent white. |
There are a lot of people asking this as a less overt question every single day on this board. |
Is the Waynewood area in FCPS known as “white wood”? |
Not really, look at demographics for Chevy Chase elementary, Silver Creek MS and BCC. Granted, the vast majority of the students of color come from Silver Spring but there are some Black families in CC. |
Lol maybe OP just wants to know where not to move.
Personally, as an East Asian, I want to know where I can find other Asians in DC. Any ideas? |
