Out of Curiosity… What are the most caucasian neighborhoods/pyramids?

Anonymous
Ashburn for Indians. Yorktown pyramid in North Arlington for white.
Anonymous
Jefferson County/Western Loudoun/Fauquier County. All are rural exurban areas of the DC area.

I don't even live there, but I think its funny how much crap Damascus gets for being some backwoods redneck pocket of liberal MoCo, but then you go to one of their middle schools and it has tons of diversity.

Now, don't get me wrong; it's still trash. But its trash of all colors

(I kid....)

To OP: That ship has sailed...perhaps two decades ago. The best you can do for mostly white, or something that resembles 1980's FFX Co., is western Loudoun, such as Emerick/Blue Ridge/LVHS for a very good pyramid. It's pretty white bread there (for now). But, for me, venturing too far outside of this trio gets a bit hillbilly.

Personally, as an East Asian, I want to know where I can find other Asians in DC. Any ideas?

Chinatown DC or Pimmit Hills, VA

Very few East Asians live in DC unless affiliated with an Embassy.

This is the sad reality. We must preserve the rural hillbilly nature of western loudoun once and for all.

The Asians in Pimmit Hills are mostly South Asian - Indians who work in IT in Tysons.

Rockville, Poolesville, Clarksburg, Potomac -- have you seen the amount of Aisan eateries in Rockville?

Centreville in VA

-signed an East Asian

What about inside DC the city?

All of DCPS is 2% Asian and 3% 2 or more races. But the neighborhoods nearest the Embassies of Asian countries have a higher number of Asian families, and the public schools reflect this, particularly the Murch/Hearst area near the Chinese Embassy and Stoddert near Embassy Row.

ES:
Murch 11%, 6% 2 or more
Stoddert 9%, 7% 2 or more
Hearst 8%, 13% 2 or more
Eaton 7%, 10% 2 or more
Mann 7%, 3 % 2 or more
Janney 4%, 10% 2 or more
Key 4%, 9% 2 or more
Hyde-Addison 4%, 8% 2 or more
Lafayette 3%, 7% 2 or more

MS:
Hardy 6%, 7% 2 or more
Deal 4%, 6% 2 or more

HS:
Jackson-Reed 5%, 4% 2 or more

That's still bupkis compared to some of the schools in MoCo and Fairfax with much larger Asian enrollments.

Not OP but I don't see the issue with this question. As a non-white person, I would want to avoid living in areas (or sending my kids to schools) that are very white.

I don't understand how you can actually admit this - this is such a clear cut example of racism if I've ever seen one. And yes, racism against whites is a real thing - case in point.

Can you imagine if someone said out loud or in this forum "as a white person I would want to avoid living in areas (or sending my kids to schools) that are very black, brown, or Asian"?!

It IS NOT OKAY!!!!!

It is not the same. POC are vastly outnumbered in most institutions that have a foundation and history in catering to white people. You can be upset about people trying to make sure their Black kid doesn't get lost in a school or neighborhood but I would be more upset that it still matters.

And so further segregating yourself and your children is how you should be living your lives? Is pushing for this way of living making a big step in a positive direction towards ending racism? Because you are actually being racist yourself.

So I should send my kid somewhere where he’s the only minority and he like why do I look different? No thanks

Oh come on!! I don't know of any school in the immediate area that is not multicultural! Public or private. Stop perpetuating this BS just to push your narrative and agenda, whatever they may be.

Anonymous wrote:If you’re looking across the full pyramid and not just at elementary schools, in FCPS it’s likely either:

Vienna - Thoreau - Madison

or

GFES - Cooper - Langley

But that’s just a slightly educated guess.

Weird! I went to Madison (and am not white) and didn’t think it was that white.

Madison was 60% white last year. Thoreau was 50%.

That wasn't part of the question.
