MDU is improving, and they have the best individual player in the region, but has been erratic. Pride 2028 tied them last Summer, for example. M&D is struggling against top competition. Heroes Green is beatable. Pride had a lead going into the last 10 minutes and lost by 1 in November. Lots of changes as players develop. Should be a very interesting Spring. I'm hoping a DMV team beats one of the top 5 this year. It's not impossible. And no merger necessary... We can wait for Capital.

Coppermine unbeatable? Hero's beat them last spring, MDU lost by 1 to them in Spring. Crush and M&D tied them over summer.

I do agree Coppermine top 2028 team, but def beatable. Hero's lost by 2 this past weekend to them.

All the top teams in the midatlantic NGLL (Copermine, MDU, M&D, Heros) are capable of beating each other. But no chance a DMV team is beating any of those teams this year. Closest anyone might get to beating a top team is Crush and the only team that could possibly do that is Pride. So yeah, we will have to wait for Capitol.

IMO Crush is now better than Hero's, so best chance for a DMV win would be against Hero's.

Why do you think they are better? Did they gain a player? Fall results hard to say, they didn't play a lot. HG looked good against Coppermine, very close, even indicated by the 6-4 game, it really coulda gone either way.

The Hero’s parents do follow this forum, who woulda thunk?

Not a HG parent, just happened to be at field that day.

I think you proved my point. Coppermine hasn't been beaten by another mid-Atlantic team since last Spring... All the rest have.

You said "unbeatable" when you really meant "unbeaten", obviously they are indeed beatable evidence by the ties and tight games.

The State of Lacrosse in Nova becomes so bad, the argument turns to if a Top 5 Maryland club is beatable or not. Good job folks. Back to arguing about how bad Next Level, Pride, BLC and Stars are.

Oh yes, the club that may be more disfunctional than Pride.

What will come of pride 28s after this summer? The 2027 board has pride totally blowing up?

Writing is on the wall. Girls already jockeying to make jump to other clubs. How was KM totally ruined the program?

To an earlier post somewhere in this chaos, still hard to believe there isn't 1 strong club in the DMV. So many issues with all of them. Sounds like Stars and Capital are going to benefit even more with Pride's turmoil.

100% fake news.

Where would the Pride girls go? They already play on the best of the local teams. Their best move is to stick together through 8th grade regardless of club turmoil and try to have success the most success possible to prepare for Capital tryouts. Breaking up at this point would be a terrible idea.

Anyone jockeying right now is probably doing so because of personal dissatisfaction with playing time, etc. It is very unlikely girls are now jockeying because of the things that are being talked about on the 2027 board.

Came back here in May and July. Let’s see how this is “fake” news. Shocker but parents from other clubs talk with each other and some are actually friends. Wheels in motion. Choose not to believe it if you want
