We have all kinds of violence and shooting and killing every day, but a young drunken girl with abusive langue becomes a big news.

Yes, yes you are! You are missing your own implicit bias, entitlement and racism. She is not jut a young drunken girl with abusive language. She is not being punished for saying the F word. She would have got away if she was not videotaped. In your world, PP, such kind of racism is normalized. |

No. And PP did not use the word crime, but rather, "punished." As for as criminal, being drunk in public is in a lot of places. As is assault. And then there are the standards of conducts and security protocols of the school. All of which she likely will have problems with. To say nothing about it being morally repugnant. |

Are you trying to imply that's all she did? Because it isn't. She said it over 200 times; kicked slapped, and bit the student working the front desk; hit and bit the arresting officer. She was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct (and I'm sure the stream of hate speech figures in here), assault, and assault on an officer. Still to come, I'm sure, are resisting arrest and possible a hate crime tag on the assault. |

There is nothing for anyone to ‘enjoy.’ This is a disaster for so many reasons. As an AA who has been on the receiving end of a racist incident, it is humiliating and exhausting. The young AA woman who was just living her life is surely glad that there will be consequences for Rosing but undoubtedly would have preferred not to be in this situation at all. |

Unfortunately, the behavior is not shocking. She didn't just flip a switch overnight and start behaving like the UK incident. 99.9999% of people like that have been that way for awhile. She grew up without a moral compass and an entitled attitude towards life. Doubt she will change, as her family is likely similar (I mean she had to learn this behavior somewhere). |
