This girl royally effed her life up as she was expecting it. How dumb can you be? I get that she was blind drunk but, as we all know, drinking allows people to say the things they usually think.

Should she be expelled? Yes.
Should she lose her "influencing"? Yes.
Do I care if she ruined her own life? While I don't think people should be punished forever, I do think they should be punished harshly for harsh crimes (not in the legal sense). No one is entitled to the path or career of choice. She ruined hers. Tough.

Should the dorm staff be commended? Yes (I do think they prob. more wanted it for social media purposes than to "do good" with it. But in the end, that matters very little.)

Finally, do I think her future will be ruined? Not convinced. I think she'll be a Blonde Female Kyle Rittenhouse. Or Nick Sandmann. Or some other darling D-bag of the MAGA crowd who will make excuses and whine about "cancel culture" while trotting her out on Tucker Carlson, etc.

You are most likely right. I have stopped being shocked at the latent hidden racism that has crawled out of the woodworks in these past couple years. Feeling more and more comfortable in the daylight. One always knew it was there, but maybe I was naive at the amount that was hidden.
