Gorgeous campus but within Raleigh city limits and neighboring NC State. My daughter loved it and she had been wary of the concept. They do have a co-ed grad program, but the undergrad classes are still all female.

I think there is a lot to be said for women’s colleges. They can be a wonderful option for certain students. They fill a needed niche. Some are more elite than others, obviously - my daughter doesn’t have a shot in hell at Wellsley or Barnard.

+1 My DD has Mount Holyoke on her list and I'd be very happy if she ends up there.

Great! I still look back and wish I had actually looked at the ones that recruited me. Smith sent me a ton of beautiful mailers, but I stupidly said “nah, MA is too cold”

We considered Sweet Briar, Hollins and Cedar Crest (PA), but they didn’t make our final list of targets.

I do wish we could add Breneau (GA) to our list, but that is a HUGE nope due to their politics

Already stretching it with NC, honestly.

University of Rochester is severely overrated

Whereas Rochester Institute of Technology is very underrated, as many schools with 'tech' in the name tend to be.
