Looks like 2-2. Yorktown might have been a bit winded after Saturday.

After seeing Madison compete with the big boy private schools this weekend (one goal loss to Bullis, very competitive game with Taft, and beat Saint Ignatius from San Fran), I don't see anyone NOVA public being able to run with them.

A very good team, but remember that folks thought Robo was unstoppable last year.

Yep. Lake Braddock says hi.

WestPo says “Howdy, LB.”

I saw a lot of Fall Brawl. Robinson looked athletic and decently skilled. LB and Yorktown were both solid, and Freedom and Patriot also looked pretty good. In order, I would say 1. Robinson 2. LB 3. Yorktown 4. Freedom 5. Patriot. Langley sent a JV team for some reason and West Potomac got killed.

Agree Madison is the team to beat. I think all of the big 6A teams will be at Turkey Shootout on 12/4 and it will be interesting to see if anyone can hang with Madison. Churchill is a good team (beat Robinson at Fall Brawl) and they should be a decent test for Madison.

Fall Lacrosse is fools gold if you read too much into it. Not sure Patriot looked that strong, Battlefield will be a clear step ahead of them this season as they are returning strong players Patriot lost a lot of O last season. Madison stays close in games if they can play make it take it which would not have helped at Fall Brawl.

I agree Battlefield will be better than Patriot this season - but they weren't at Fall Brawl and I was only ranking based on the performances I saw on Sunday. I had Patriot as fifth out of seven teams so clearly they weren't that strong, but their 13-10 loss to LB wasn't bad and they still have some decent skill players.
