Also, Riverside vs. St. Albans and Severn No LB. Not even a scrimmage. |
| False, LB scrimmages Yorktown and Freedom South Riding. |
| Not even a scrimmage against a private school. |
|
LB, at last count had 5 D1 committed players and at least 2-3 other also committed to play in college. They also had more than a couple, very dynamic freshman. Might be nice to see them play a private but it wont matter to become state champs. Only have to beat publics.
A lot has to go right. Robo was the best last year by far, only to be booted early because they took the first half off in their game against LB. Its February. Lets see who can compete and stay healthy through end of the run! |
| Madison? Maybe not. |
| Since the season is starting up very soon, would someone like to create a new forum for the spring season. I feel it is appropriate |
| Keep an eye on McLean....not a sexy team but very very solid |
Maybe. But I think they will upset LB. |
Now that’s funny! |
| Yorktown did win the Winter Fall Brawl: Are they in the mix at the top? What about Battlefield solid goalie play keeps them in games. This is the do or die season for LB an all the D1 kids. |
| Fall Brawl is the worst event out there. 7v7 short field short games are pretty meaningless. Yorktown lost a lot of their defense but they have some stud midfielders and at least one strong attack returning and they will be fine. Tier 2 with Robinson and Battlefield. |
Yeah, they played in the fourth division for VEL and went 1-6. I'm not buying this one. |
Watch… they have a sophomore middle that is amazing |
Last time I checked, Lacrosse is a team sport. Hero ball will not fly against a well orchestered team. |
| Season is almost here. Looks like Langley is up first with two scrimmages on 2/25 (Potomac and Briar Woods), then Madison/West Springfield on 2/28 and a bunch of other scrimmages on 3/2 and 3/3, with Yorktown/Lake Braddock being the most interesting. Robinson/Riverside on 3/6 should be good too. |
