| In addition to having a higher rate of admission, Cornell also offers many freshmen applicants a guaranteed transfer option if one does his or her first year of college at another school any school) and earns a specified minimum GPA. So Cornell's admit rate is, arguably, much higher than 10.5%. |
Are you reading the thread at all? Cornell is 7 percent now. This is updated for Class of 2026. You are looking at Class of 2024. Apps have gone up because other Ivies have lower admission rates. https://www.collegevine.com/questions/28020/cornell-s-admitted-today-that-it-offered-4908-admission-this-cycle-or-6-9-a-record-low https://www.collegetransitions.com/blog/2026-ivy-league-acceptance-rates/ |
Should have written that Cornell's rate of admission is, arguably, much higher than 7% if guaranteed (albeit with a contingency) transfer offers of admission are included. |
LOL grasping for straws here. Contingencies is no guarantee. Still need to have grades etc. It is not an admission until it is the next year. |
