Hetero couple proclaiming themselves as queer

Anonymous
I went to a lovely wedding last fall for a friend who married a wonderful man. She identified as a lesbian for years, was previously married to a woman. Her sister is married to a transman. The groom was raised mostly by his lesbian mom and her partner. The officiant was a lesbian. It was quietly announced in the ceremony that they identified as queer, which seemed appropriate to this cisgender woman who wishes them a long and happy life together.

That's interesting. Does your friend now ID as bisexual or pansexual or has she started identifying as straight? 99% chance her partner comes out as trans lol

If a man can identify as a woman (and vice versa), why can't someone also identify as queer?

You should totally go to Pride in DC this year and tell everyone you're a super straight queer.
