But I’m sure you were totally fine with the entire confirmation process that got us the last three justices.

SCOTUS was already trashed by appointing three illegitimate justices. This is nothing.

Nah. This was so dumb. What’s the point? Honestly, took the wind out of the sails of the real headline we would have gotten in June. Seriously, this was a dumb leak.

It was to give people time to prepare. Healthcare providers, advocates. It had to be done.

All those groups have already been preparing.

Yup.

Anything that wasn't expliitly protected (or didnt exist) in 1787 is now suspect.

Nah, just whatever the GOP doesn’t like is fair game in Fascist hell land. They keep trying to grind the USPS into dust and that’s literally in the Constitution.

They’ll probably overturn the 13th amendment next, just because they can and they want to.

A 98 page opinion is a little far to go for fear mongering. You can spread terror in 5 pages.

Lol, the Supreme Court has held that polygraphs are meaningless and inaccurate. But, if they're already ignoring stare decisis and overturning settled law... In for a pound in for a penny I guess.

Probably a SC liberal law clerk for sure. To stir up trouble and get judges threatened.

Informed speculation on Twitter was a sotomayor clerk

I've seen speculation all over the place for several different purposes.

There's agreement that this hurts the Court, the trust and collegiality of the justices. Badly.

So does overturning fifty years of stare decisis.

You do know that abortion will go to the states. It's not being outlawed

Outlawing this will be HR1 and S1 if the GOP wins the House and Senate. Silly to pretend otherwise.

That PP votes 75% Republican but needs to sleep at night, so they lie to themselves. Also, their abortion, in 2004, was a good one, that’s different. Her daughter, well, when she needs an abortion that will be different too.

This is not the end of abortion. This is the end of safe, lega abortion.

Tell your daughters to stop using period tracking apps.

And maybe the 19th while they are at it.

It will be. By states where conservatives have gerrymandered and voting-restrictioned their way into long-term power.

No more IVF folks. Kiss it goodbye if you live in Atlanta or Jacksonville. You wanted grandbabies? Too bad.

There is no constitutional right to abortion. It should be a state decision.

It's a human rights issue. Women are human and have rights to bodily autonomy.

You know who should also be “disbarred pronto”? The federal judges who lied under oath saying they would respect stare decisis in this matter when testifying to Congress.

Tell you daughters to vote to be represented by people that with respect their right to their own reproductive decisions.
