DP. Oh, do give us some examples of this. We'll wait while you manufacture something. |
DP. Which of those statements are you disputing? |
Um... obviously the claim that "Youngkin's campaign and platform capitalized on Virginia's racist history." Which is utter bull$hit. |
+100 The immaturity and hatred is pretty astounding. Youngkin is a decent guy, yet these ultra-partisan LWNJs are doing their level best to paint him as anything but. Just makes them look crazier than usual. |
That's exactly what he was doing with the CRT nonsense. |
Here's what actually happened. Youngkin mistakenly sent a congratulatory text to Lucas, mistaking her for Locke. Lucas texted back, letting him know he had the wrong person. He very graciously apologized to her - immediately. When Lucas responded privately to Youngkin's text message earlier in the week informing him of the mistaken identity, Youngkin responded with an apology, according to the Post: “Goodness … so sorry about the confusion,” he wrote in a text response. “I will send her a note. Thanks for the note back!” For normal people, that would have been the end of it. Instead, she couldn't resist a good gotcha moment, and extremely tackily decided to make the exchange public in a snarky tweet. He made a human mistake and apologized for it. She took it way too far and made an ass out of herself. But now we all know what kind of person she is. |
Louder, for the idiots in the back. |
Lucas *is* an angry person. That she also happens to be a black woman is irrelevant. Maybe she could try showing a little grace for a change. |
DP. What "whitesplaining" are you referring to? What "public stance" is so offensive to you? |
He's gained the trust of millions, hon - and for good reason. Those who don't trust him have their own set of issues. Be well. |
Wrong. It's been pointed out over and over that "CRT" is merely shorthand for the over-the-top DEI teacher trainings in VA public schools (and elsewhere). But, you knew that. |
Bingo |
Thank you for proving the point. |
