Our school is starting a 'discussion based' physics class as well. Getting really nervous about eliminating AP's. It looks like all that will accomplish is dumb down STEM courses under the guise of 'all our classes are far more advanced than APs, and our amazing teachers don't need to be constrained teaching to the test'.

This is concerning. Is it the standard physics class, or one that is offered for students who are not as strong in STEM?

Independent X School can expel our children:
· for any action or statement
· for voicing disagreement or simply reflecting a loss of confidence
· by anyone related to our children
· on or off campus
· under the sole and absolute discretion of the headmaster
· without nexus to any reasonable or unreasonable standard

Independent X School makes no representations of the appropriateness of its education and does not guarantee success, readiness, or even “progress.” In at least one contract, parents agree to pay Independent X School’s legal fees if the parents win a lawsuit against Independent X School. Independent X School can harm your child and make you pay $$$ for it! When did enrollment contracts become so unconscionably one-sided? It’s no wonder Independent X School does not send a copy of the fully executed enrollment contract to all parties of the agreement or allow for an autosave upon completion in online portals. But this year’s enrollment contract is still available on your online portal.
