“Elite independent schools pay consultants like those in the Glasgow Group to help them comply with the rules set by NAIS: The National Association of Independent Schools, whose approved accreditors set standards for more than 1,600 top schools.

These standards are outlined in the “Principles of Good Practice” that schools must adhere to in order to maintain accreditation. What even was that? She frames it as either/or not both/and. It's like she's just looking for something to be mad about when there's nothing to any of her arguments. The schools I'm aware of do equity work and still let girls code. They teach all aspects of the practices that monetized enslaved-Africans. One would hope she could calm down, take a deep breath, and actually understand what is being taught rather than blathering on with talking points that are blatantly false.

What is a neo-racist theory and pedagogy? Does she even understand what that means?

We must question the objective/goal of the school’s DEI and SEL work. What exactly are they looking to achieve? And how do we know how far is our school from achieving it? And how would they know if it isn’t working? How would they adjust their program? This is a wild experiment where our children are the Guinea pigs.

Why are these consultants who went to privates go back to the same schools where they were abused? Rodney Glasgow says walking into the school where he works (making $500K-$1mil) is like walking into a plantation.

Public schools need these consultants/teachers with their world class educations (privates, then ivies) so much more. Kind of amazing, these teachers work with the very children they openly hate and resent. And parents are ok paying top dollar for the privilege!
