So it’s ok to break the law…if you’re angry? |
And the school called with sheriff within minutes of hearing about the rape. Stop lying. |
I’m sure you’d happily acquiesce if a school tries to cover up your child’s rape. |
Regardless of his reasons, they called the police because of his actions - he broke the law. Just because you’re angry doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want and not be held accountable. Two wrongs don’t make a right. |
He struggled with the police. Agree, that was wrong. However, his daughter had been raped and the SB and superintendent had just publicly lied about it. He was attacked and called a liar by a SB supporter. The police came up and grabbed him and he resisted. I agree he should not have resisted. But his crime is nothing to the crime of the SB and superintendent. And, remember, his daughter's attacker has still not been tried--five months later. And, just weeks before this, on the day of the alleged rape, the police were called because the dad was angry--they were not called for the rape. Had dad not become angry, would the daughter have had the rape test? School wanted to handle it "in-house." And, you wonder why parents are "bullying" the School Board. |
So you think the death threats to the school board are … justified? |
Absolutely not. Do you think the threats against their opponents are justified? |
So, a parent gets upset that the SB lied about his daughter's assault/rape. He did not threaten the SB, but now you want to silence because they received death threats from who knows where.
And, remember, it was member of the School Board who first began the "enemies' list." |
Of course not. So “Fight for Schools” should stop bullying the school board and let them focus on real issues. |
Oh, like their barrage of "proclamations," you mean?
|
Seems like you weren't even paying attention to those: "a proclamation recognizing October 2021 as Bullying Prevention Month" I dunno, the bus driver shortage seems important. Too bad they ran out of time to discuss it. |
This was preceded by an AG investigation of Loudoun County over their admissions policies. Complaint was filed I think by NAACP. TJ in Fairfax, and general county policies were also targeted beyond the particular schools' admissions policies. |
NCAA filed this? “ “The inescapable conclusion from the LCPS presentation is that too many Asian students are admitted to the Academies, and LCPS intends to reduce the number of Asian students, notwithstanding the merit of each student,” reads one paragraph of the 16-page lawsuit.” |
This was later. The NAACP acted first. I don't remember where it was lawsuits, and where it was complaints filed with the AG. |
LCPS school board never runs out of time. The videos posted on their website are truncated because they go so far over their planned time. |
