TikTok is even buying cable TV adds. The kids was one preceding an Avengers movie - so it’s clear TT is still targeting kids.

Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat are all at one level. I can understand why teens would use them. Not all good, but there are enough positive things about these apps that they are acceptable.

TikTok is a entirely different beast. It is insanely harmful for kids. China's contribution to the world - COVID and TikTok.

If you are allowing your kid to use TikTok you are making a major mistake. Dont conflate it with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube. You might find the same content in all of them but the way in which the videos are served to you makes TikTok a dramatically bad app for teens in particular.

Keep your teens mentally healthy by removing TikTok.

My 12yo dd realizes how stupid and harmful tik tok is and has no interest in it. She’s fine with having no social media.

major issues at our school stemming from videos on TikTok. hope your kids know what they post isn’t private, especially bullying/talking shit about teachers. it never ends well.
