Why do Republicans fetishize AOC?

This was brought up in another thread but I think it deserves its own topic.

Republicans are obsessed. Almost stalkerish in the manner in which they foam at the mouth over AOC. It’s extremely creepy how Republican men almost have fetishistic hatred for her. It’s almost borders on the line of sexual obsession.

Republican women seem attack her less because they understand the unstated threat of violence that lurks hand-in-hand with obsessive attention by a man on a woman. Still, GOP women fall in line behind the men.

Republicans’ behavior reminds me frat boys who are shot down by a woman and then say derogatory things about her to salve their bruised egos.

Let’s look at the facts:
-She a freshman Congressman
-She hold power of no committees in the House
-The Democrats have nominated a centrist as their POTUS candidate

When will the GOP learn to control themselves? When will they stop stoking the death threats against AOC? Truly disturbing.

It comes from the well of hatred they had for Hillary Clinton. I assume there’s a degree of sexual attraction of which they’re ashamed in their obsession. Republicans have whacked out sex lives with a lot of shame.

AOC is a convenient target. She is very vocal and willing to say things other Democrats won't. Frankly lately I find it kind of refreshing that she just comes out and says what she thinks instead of being afraid of her own shadow.

Get used to it. Whether it is AOC or someone else, the Republicans will target the Left. If Trump is gone soon, there will no longer be the air cover for all the unpopular Lefty ideas and talking points - defund the police, white privilege etc..

But she is one of four hundred House representatives. My House rep, Republican, is even more idiotic than her. His Twitter feed might actually be worse than Trumps for partisan rhetoric devoid of fact or principles. But he never held accountable by the local or national media.

AOC is everything that triggers Republicans:

1. A woman
2. Of Latin heritage
3. Who speaks her mind

They are absolutelyup in arms because in their world, they are supposed to be able to shut her up with a single look. It's driving them crazy that she's sitting in the House of Representatives rather than waiting tables at Chili's.
