They CAN catch and spread it. But being vaccinated means you're significantly less likely to catch it in the first place in comparison to an unvaccinated person. The virus is significantly less likely to replicate and progress to full blown COVID, if you're vaccinated.

It's all about odds and percentages. Being vaccinated greatly reduces the odds of death, hospitalization, catching COVID, and replicating the virus when compared to an unvaccinated individual.

I wish DeSantis would push as hard for vaccination as he's pushing for monoclonal antibodies and the Merck antiviral pills. That's the difference between him and AOC.
