Hamilton Musical on Disney July 3rd - what about BLM?

My favorite musical and I plan to watch - just wondering if there has been any pushback considering mostly black actors are playing these historical characters who are now being removed from history because they are now considered racist? Washington? Jefferson? In the musical, they are so likable and portrayed as heroes and strong leaders.........is this not a contradiction to what is happening in our country today??

I don’t think so. The founding fathers are portrayed with honesty - Jefferson is the villain (and sally Hemings is in the show); Washington is acknowledged as a slave owner.
