I paid less than $50 to see Hamilton in Baltimore, it was worth that and more

LOL I don't know what you think Hamilton is about, but it isn't about what you wrote. It is literally the story of Alexander Hamilton, kind of grandly exaggerated.

Hamilton isn't just a musical about the founding fathers with colorblind casting, it's a reimagining of the founding myths of the US, and if you'll remember, Jefferson comes off very poorly in the show and is put down for being a slaveowner.

I'll quibble in that Hamilton isn't really an example of colorblind casting. Thomas Kail: “We never imagined casting the show in any other way – never for one second,” he said. “We are very conscious of what we are doing here. This is not colour-blind casting. It felt essential.”

I made the comment about colorblind casting and I agree pp! What I was trying to say is that people might see it as a musical that is interesting because it has colorblind casting, but actually it's not colorblind casting, it's a reimagining of American history.
