Reach out to the club to see if LMVSC has a team in CCL for your DS and DD.

Premier AC (PAC) is playing for LMVSC for 2009 Boys and 2007 Girls. You can reach out to them if that matches up. But it doesn’t guarantee those teams will stick with CCL, going forward. It depends on how the experience is for those players and if LMVSC wants/needs them in the future as well.

Was speaking to a manager and both these age groups have openings. Definitely worth reaching out!

Thank you, but interested in playing for CCL (not LMVSC). In order to play for the teams playing for LMVSC, do I have to register for LMVSC or the replacement team?

Very smart of you. If you play for the fill in team, you will need to register for the other club, which is currently Premier AC and TSJ/FCV. Do not register with LMVSC otherwise you will not be playing CCL where LMVSC has agreed to have these clubs play in their place.

I’m just curious now, it appears there are more replacement teams than just DD and DS. Does anybody know how many teams and/or what ages and genders?

Why? You obviously knew you came here to just stir up the topic again. Interesting that you knew that you were joining up a replacement team but somehow thought you needed to ask here if it was needed to sign with LMVSC. Now you want to know what other teams are missing. Probably another director from another club. The season is about to start, focus on your club. As an LMVSC parent I know the club has problems and hoping that they can be fixed in near future but find it ridiculous some of the non-sense started on here. Yeah I just want my DD and DS to play in CCL and want to join whomever is filling in for LMVSC's vacant spots. Riiiiiight!

not the pp but i've been following this. okay so not to get too technical here, but the season DID already start. it was previously discussed about the whole "reschedule" "we didn't order uniforms on time" "it doesn't matter the league will let you simply wear a shirt color" a couple days ago. looks like you're getting trolled upon.

but, can you answer the "how many holes" question? we're curious to know how much. it will come out soon, anyways.

You will never get a straight or honest answer to your question. LB has no clue how many teams they have and wants to deceive everyone in thinking the club is doing fine. The website has not been updated with current information and misleading on both number of teams and the current coaching staff.

It's very sad that LB can't get her own house in order. Being the head of WAGS one would think her own club is thriving, especially on the girls side. Looking at the other clubs helping them fill their schedule for CCL, it is safe to assume the club will only have 20-25 teams for the coming year, with less than 10 girls teams. This is terrible being the club was providing 50 teams for competitive play just 2 years ago.

You clearly have to join the replacement team if they are filling in for lmvsc .

Well I guess that's pretty clear; asking around there are other options. I didn't realize just how big of a mess LMVSC was in, filler team or not.

hate to throw gas on the fire, but this is true. will update later but for now it's not even speculation; just go to NCSL brackets and look count the teams. several red teams, no blue teams. furthermore, like half of the girls side isn't in ccl and many age groups don't even have teams.

Here’s another fun fact to consider. LMVSC has 2 teams playing State Cup this fall, 2006 Boys and 2003 Boys. NO GIRLS TEAMS! What does this say about the competitiveness of the high school age teams in the club? What does this say about the clubs support or confidence in these age groups? It doesn’t indicate there is much talent left at the club.

I’d bet LB enters a U18 girls team so they post on social media about making it to the quarterfinals. With 6 teams, they’d at least be guaranteed that. That may be the best $400 investment LB makes, regardless of whether LMVSC has a team to compete.

well, at least they put one boys team in the President's Cup:

Well, there is no 2002 girls team. There is no 2003 girls team. There is no 2004 girls team. There is no 2006 girls team. But you are correct, LB does NOT care.

Also, 2007 and 2008 girls are both in NCSL. Don’t expect LB to put them in State Cup either. She doesn’t care about the girls side nor is she good at it.

That’s amazing. No girls teams in over half of the age groups. Of those remaining, most are not CCL? You’d think that the face of “Women and Girls in Soccer” would be able to have a quality to product to show. Not only can she not provide girls teams in her club, she only has 1 female coach aside from herself. How embarrassing for LMVSC and WAGS.

It's only going to get worse before it gets any better

Yes, except it won’t get better. They’ll be down to even fewer teams by end of the year.

+1

Once the teams begin playing and are not competitive, the kids will hate the experience and quit. Not an environment for any positive experience in youth soccer.

Nope. Soccer.com stated on the orders all team store orders will have a 28+ lead time before shipping. Being as the club didn't give us the information earlier, we won't have uniforms until late September or early October. Looks like we will look like the bad news bears on the soccer field wearing different uniforms and all shades of colors.

They wouldn’t cancel for that though right? The team could wear pini’s worst case?
