Definitely worth reading. This reporter and others tried to verify the story for a year and weren't able to do so. Now Reade has changed her account and suggested new corroborators that she did not mention to reporters a year ago. In April 2019: Reade told me that she wanted me to think of this story as being about abuse of power, “but not sexual misconduct.” Her emphasis was on how she was treated in Biden’s office by Senate aides, who she said retaliated against her for complaining about how Biden touched her in meetings. “I don’t know if [Biden] knew why I left,” she said. “He barely knew us by name.” |

The problem is that it is hard to tell if Reade is making truthful allegations or just making arguments for a political soapbox. She is creating a narrative and she is about as reliable and trustworthy as the two political operatives on the last page. Her goal is not the truth; her goal is to overthrow the will of the Democratic electorate and remove Biden from the Democratic nomination so that a more progressive candidate can be selected. |

| At this point, Reade is going to have to provide a CCTV to be believed. There are simply too many holes and changes in her story, and in her collaborators’ stories. Too many tweets praising Biden on women’s’ issues. A personal history that’s a little too illustrative of grift and deceit. She can’t walk all this stuff back without new, bullet-proof evidence. |
