Biden's VP?

Her lame clap back is hack-ish. It implies Ted Cruz is weaponizing fake news... when it’s actually the fault of the idiots at the Detroit ABC affiliate — an outlet very friendly to her — for using old b-role to announce her silly, attention craving $1,000 fine measure.

Media sure cared about academic pedigree in 2008 when a ditz from Alaska joined McCain...

Sure do not want this happening again.

Whitmer went to one college, not six.

MSU was the top party school in the US in the late 80s, early 90s; she majored in “communications” and was a sorority girl. Then on to the worst law school in Michigan... even though she was born rich and had parents with mucho clout. She’ll make a fine vp... but let’s not pretend there’s nothing to her “Gretchen Half-Whitmer” nickname. Biden is a fool for commiting to a woman vp — Cuomo is the OBVIOUS choice.

Not digging Cuomo after his disastrous handling of the COVID crisis in NYC. Much prefer Klobs. So what if she has a mean streak - she seems like a grounded, Midwestern woman who gets things done and Biden's diplomacy would be a good counterfoil to her mean streak.

She is a graduate of Yale and U.Chicago. Its a +1 from me. Its high time we got some intellect in the White House.

Even more crucial when the top of the ticket is a dullard

MSU is not the worst law school in Michigan. You’re forgetting about the alma mater of none other than the President’s lawyer.

Not even remotely true. I doubt you could get into MSU undergrad these days. The communications/journalism program at MSU is a top program in the country. She wanted to be a journalist. She had middle-class parents. She's much more intelligent that Orange Julius and would make an excellent VP and President. MSU wanted a law school so they merged with the Detroit College of Law which was a decent regional law school, a lot of not to the manor born night students. Cooley is the worst law school in America - and Trump apparently had no problem with it!

Continuing to attack Whitmer on where she went to school makes you seem petty and elitist - and a tad misogynistic if I'm being honest. It's fine if you dislike her personality or her policies, but let's not act like an Ivy-league education is a prerequisite or that a politician's education determines the kind of leader they'll be. Again, the majority of Americans do not care where their elected officials when to school. The media may care, the coastal elites may care, but the rest do not.

I don't especially like Whitmer for VP but it has nothing to do with her education.

But then the contrast would be too apparent.

Nope, Biden will find someone younger and as dullard as he is -- or worse.

Good god, where are you getting this?

It may not be from a political source, but the bookies and oddsmakers are using information claimed to be from "Senior Democratic party insiders":

https://nypost.com/2020/04/11/here-are-top-contenders-for-joe-bidens-vice-presidential-candidate/

Despite the source, professional bettors are using these odds for putting their money where their mouths are:
BIDEN VEEP RACE ODDS
Senior Democratic party insiders gave The Post the following odds:

• Amy Klobuchar 5 to 2
• Gretchen Whitmer 4 to 1
• Kamala Harris 9 to 1
• Tammy Duckworth 9 to 1
• Michelle Obama 15 to 1
• Elizabeth Warren 20 to 1
• Stacey Abrams 25 to 1
• Catherine Cortez Masto 25 to 1
• Michelle Lujan Grisham 33 to 1
• Hillary Clinton 100 to 1
• Andrew Cuomo 500 to 1

Interesting, but who knows who their sources are. Pundit lists are pretty consistent in putting Klobuchar and Harris in a dead heat for top pick, with Whitmer and Duckworth as dark horses. Michelle Obama would blow up the entire race, in a good way, but I don't think she'd ever agree in a million years. She doesn't want another 4-8+ years of hate directed toward her family.

It is Amy. A done deal weeks ago.

After Amy and friends performance during the Kavanaugh hearings, no way she can accept to join the ticket of a serial harasser and now accused rapist.
