Keep trying. He wasn’t hit by a car. You can’t make that true. |
Are you for real? He was not run over by a car. He was not hit by a car. |
| I saw the pic of his injury and a car doesn't give you a perfectly neat and straight 2ish inch gash in the middle of the head. It's actually ridiculous this is even a trial. |
That’s where the cocktail glass hit him. |
So he fell on it? I read they did not swab the wound. Is this correct? Otherwise there would be glass fragments. |
PP is not following the case clearly. Not even the prosecution is claiming she “ran him over” - they are saying she side swiped him and then afterward he fell and hit his head (because he was totally trashed too.) |
And he was a policeman who knew she was drunk and made her drive him around. I would make that a huge part of my case if I were the defense |
would there be a murder charge if they claimed that? |
|
I can’t even be mad at people who get facts wrong in this case. I’m working and listening to the trial and when I read what the free Karen Read people say it is bananas and if you read only what’s on the Internet, you’ll get your stuff wrong.
|
I've been watching the trial and nothing so far shows she is guilty. The more I think about it the more I think he had a tragic fall, and people are acting shady bc they on some level all knew some harm came to him but they (including Karen) were all too drunk to truly consider going to find and help him, until it was too late. |
I think is that she hit him with the car. She was so drunk that she only started realizing what she did hours later. I don’t know about you, but I’ve done this where I have drunk so much that different pieces of my memory come back the next day. That’s why I don’t drink anymore. But I don’t understand is why this man who is testifying today is being a difficult witness. |
I don't drink so cannot speak to that, but the injuries just do not make sense, especially the fatal one, when it comes to her hitting him. In any case she did hit the tail light in the driveway (it's on video) so if you say it's a memory piece coming back then maybe she was remembering this mixed up with dropping him off mixed up with him not being anywhere. I think the same about Jen McCabe: she drunkenly remembered while in bed that Julie saw a "black blob" on the lawn and had this horrific sudden thought it might have been John. Same for the Albert butt dials: they noticed someone out, and decided it would be a bad look no matter what they did to not have helped the person earlier, so they did nothing. I really see it as a case of a bunch of drunks who left John out to die, with various degrees of cognizence of his situation and various reasons for doing nothing. To me it makes the most sense because otherwise nothing fits fully. |

I've followed this case from the beginning and she may or may not be guilty, but there are plenty of reasons for reasonable doubt and dismissal. Yes, they were all S-faced. Yes, her demeanor is cold, but the prosecution and handling of this case is laughable. I'm not sure what I believe at this point, but you can't ignore irreconcilable points in the case:
-Why did everyone at Fairview destroy their phones after being tipped off that they were being taken a day later? -Why was the carpet in the basement replaced a week after his death? -Why was the dog rehomed immediately following that night. A girl at the home took the dog with her shortly after the timeline for it to never be seen again? John was found with scratch and bite marks consistent with a dog, but miraculously they were never tested. The injuries to his body are inconsistent with just being hit by a car. -Proctor had Karen Read's car for several hours prior to it actually being submitted for evidence. In this time, her taillight had inconsistencies and somehow the footage from the carport was altered and destroyed. -The phone calls made between the Albert's, Higgins, and McCabe don't match and they have all been caught lying throughout both trials. -Video footage from Canton police department shows Higgins at pacing outside the police department after him blatantly saying he was home sleeping at the time. -Video footage from neighbors homes were conveniently destroyed. -8 witnesses passed the Alberts' yard after Karen dropped John off & all said they didn't see a body in the yard. -Plow driver didn't see a body in Brian Albert's yard @ 2:30am. He had a clear view of the yard from a high vantage point. He saw a Ford Edge at 3:30am exactly where John was found shortly after. The Edge was blocking the view of the camera across the street. Brian & Colin Albert both drove Edges. -Jen & Kerry spent hours at the lead investigator's house for John's case the day after he died & never disclosed it. -John's body wasn't cold enough by 6am, when he was found, to have been outside since 12:30am. There are several others, but those come to mind. I don't think they prosecution has proven anything to put her away for murder, and the lies being told by everyone who was at Fairview that night make it hard to put the whole thing on Karen. |
You’re still drunk. There is no evidence that he was hit by a car in any way. |
There is something wrong with you. There is no evidence that he was hit by a car. |
