In that whole sea of weirdness, I think Jill‘s purple looks great. It will probably be panned as “boring” but really it’s just plain normal. And normal is good. Certainly better than the strange cosplay stuff.

I also like the purple. She looks like herself, and comfortable, but also festive and eye catching. I think it makes some of the other people come off as try-hard.

I cannot find a photo of it online and I don't know if she counts as a "Trump Woman" in this context, but Lauren Sánchez is sitting on the dais next to Jeff wearing a see-through bustier under a boobtacular white blazer and it is INSANE. She's going to wind up in a ton of photos of the event because of where they are seated. She's also seated right next to Zuckerberg and in front of a bunch of the cabinet nominees.

I am not a prude but that is jaw-droppingly tacky and obnoxious. I largely think women should wear what the want but imagine if a man showed up to this event with his shirt unbuttoned down to his chest. It's the same thing. Tacky, rude, unnecessarily attention-grabbing.
