Can I sue Callie Oettinger?

Anonymous
Boy, Callie has been busy posting on here. I hope to see FCPS and Callie's story plastered all over the news. Please do not think for a second Callie gives a F about your kids. She sold out 35,000 kids to make a point. That is not a victim, not a hero, not an advocate and not a whistleblower. Hopefully it makes her a defendant.

noun
noun: whistleblower
a person who informs on a person or organization engaged in an illicit activity.

Umm no. It wasn't illicit until she asked for the information and took it. She's part of the illicit activity. Are you saying she did this intentionally?

We’re a victim family here and a day or so ago received postcards about joint a settlement […] Honestly I didn’t finish reading it, as i assumed it was regarding this unauthorized information release. (Oh…the compensation was $50.) 🤣

She asked for info about her child. She was given info for 35000 children. This isn’t that hard to understand.

Interesting. That actually sounds about right. $1,750,000 to the affected families and $1,750,000 to the attorneys. Too bad the justice system doesn’t work that fast.

Read what the judge said after she was sued by FCPS for doing this before. FCPS turned around and did the same thing again!

+5000. This group is the very definition of if a tree falls in the forest. They don’t care if fcps is leaking it as long as they don’t know about it.

It’s been brought to court, FCPS sued Callie to get records removed from her website, and the judge sided with Callie. The information was legally obtained so it’s hers. This is a second time for FCPS to screw up with giving Callie other kids’ information! How stupid of them.

Have you read what’s out there? All of it? Do that.

I talked to mine yesterday. Nothing to do. Besides I haven’t found any identifiable information about my daughter anywhere nor would I be able to prove damages from it. I’m moving on.

So then how is she a whistle-blower? How is she uncovering things that don't involve her directly?

Someone who did the smart thing. Contacted an attorney who gave you sound advice vs. getting groupthinked by a wishful thinking group of idiots who watched one too many episodes of Matlock, and think that makes them the world’s greatest legal minds.

She’s tried. They’re stupid or careless?

Both.

My kids are the victim of Callie. Neither they, or their parents, gave Callie permission to share their data.
